  11. 1/2 Tsp. Raw Mango Powder
  12. 4 Tbsp. Ghee
  13. as required Sev
  14. as needed Green Coriander Chopped
  15. As needed Green Chilies Chopped
  16. As required Onion Chopped
  17. as required Namakpara

Instructions to make to make Banarasi Tamater Chaat 

  1. Wash and soak the white chickpeas in water for 3-4 hours and Drain and Transfer into pressure cooker, add water and salt and cook till to tender in pressure cooker.
  2. Heat the oil in non-stick pan, add onion and ginger chili paste and saute for few seconds.
  3. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala, amchoor and mix well and sauté few seconds.
  4. Add Chopped tomatoes and cover it till to mashy. Add boiled and mashed potatoes and peas and mix well.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well. Cover it and cook for few minutes. Remove from the flame.
  6. Place the ladleful tomato mixture in serving bowl and topped with onion, sev, green coriander, chilies and papri.
