  9. 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  10. 2-3 dry red chilli
  11. 3-4 cloves
  12. 1 stick cinnamon
  13. 3-4 green cardamom
  14. 7-9 black pepper seeds
  15. 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  16. 1 tsp jeera
  17. 1/2 cup zero number sev
  18. 1/2 cup masala peanuts
  19. as needed Pomegranate for decoration

Instructions to make to make Dabeli

  1. Take one non-stick pan dry roast all Dabeli masala ingredients and let it cool and churn it. Your Dabeli masala is ready. You can store it for long time in a glass container or in a air tight container.
  2. Take another pan heat the oil and add jeera and onion and fry for couple of minutes then add tomatoes and fry for another 4-5 minutes.
  3. When tomatoes gets tender add boiled and mashed potatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add Dabeli masala and dash of water and cover for 2 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Transfer this batter in a plate and spread evenly. Sprinkle chopped onions, zero number sev and masala peanuts.
  4. Take pav cut it from center and spread this masala on it and sprinkle some sev.Take one non-stick tawa and put some butter and cook it from both sides and serve hot with masala chai.
