  2. 2 cups white chana soaked for 4 hours and then boiled

  7. as required Turmeric and salt
  8. as required Green chutney and tamarind chutney

Instructions to make to make Ragda Pattice

  1. For pattice mash the boiled potatoes, add 1/4 tp of turmeric powder and salt as per taste. And add bread crumbs and mix it to bind the potatoes to make tikkis. The dough should not be too hard and too soft. It should not stick in your hands. Keep this dough in fridge for 10 mins so it will not stick in hands. After 10 mins apply oil on both of your hands and make small tikkis and roast it on tawa from both sides and apply little oil so it should not stick on tawa as well. Your tikkis are ready.
  2. For ragada heat a kadai put some oil and heat it, take 2 to 3 medium size onions, 2 to 3 green chillies, some garlic and grind into paste. Pour the paste in the oil and make another tomato paste and pour it as well. Roast it well, add dry masala like turmeric powder, chillies powder and salt (all masala as per taste), mix it and add boiled chickpeas and water as required. Let it boil.
  3. Now in a plate put 2 tikkis, put some ragda on it, add green chutney then tamarind chutney, chopped onions, yellow sev and coriander leaves, and a pinch of chaat masala. And it's ready to enjoy.
